Hong Kong's Queen's Pier

This British colonial-era pier is going to be vanish. The pier which built in 1957, has more than 50 years of history. It was traditionally where British governors and visiting royalty arrived and departed when Hong Kong was still a British colony. In recent years, it has played host to weddings, anti-war protests and city workers looking for a quiet place for a lunch break.

The government wants to tear down the pier and build a new one as part of a reclamation project to make way for a bypass to ease traffic congestion. But Hong Kongers have rejected the plan, and the campaign to save the pier has drawn hundreds over the last few months, especially after protesters failed to stop the government from relocating the famed Star Ferry pier.

My beloved country..

As a Malaysian, it means a lot for us in this 50 years since 'Merdeka', are our country  well-developing? I guess no one will agree about this.. Are our society acknowledged as a clean, polite, courtesy in this region? I pretty sure is not. But I am proud of what we have now although it is not satisfying but we will work it out. Although there are imbalance in our society ethnic but we will sure find the way out. This is how we survive, how we tolerate and blend in the country with various of cultural heritage. Although our neighbour country critics about us from time to time but who cares. Because of you, Malaysia, we are here, hopefully there will be more prosperous, stable and harmony after each passing day. Biar kita bekerjasama mencapai kemajuan and kesejahteraan!

Beijing's Unique Pao

After the reports about Beijing's pao (chinese buns) which contains alkaline-treated cardboard paper as ingredient. A Japanese tried to make it. Below are the steps and he describe the texture is almost same like pork! Really impress to the guy who dare to eat it.

自一个日本网站，是一位日本人亲手制作的。并进行了品尝
1、准备好材料

2、配制碱性溶液
另外加一句 :有必要包着头吗? 有这么强腐蚀性吗?

3、将厚纸板泡入碱性溶液中

4、放置一段时间后，滤去上液。

5、剁碎……,

6、看看像不像猪肉

7、将真正的猪肉剁成肉末

8、将素菜、猪肉和纸板末按照一定比例配合

9、加入各种调料并搅拌

10, Oh Yeah

11、开始制作包子～

12. 和北京的一样的吧

13、强火加热12分钟……

14、大功告成！
看看是不是内馅和猪肉差不多的？

15、食用之前先喝一瓶醋，第一为了帮助消化，第二为了中和碱液～

16. 一个字 吃!!!!


17.口感竟然和真的包子差不多，除了一些纤维夹在牙缝比较难受～口感还是有点不如纯猪肉的……
可能是碱液的浸泡时间不够长，也许是浓度不够～
　　看来还有待进一步改善……
　　不过从外观上来看，你看得出哪个是纯猪肉的？那个是伪猪肉的包子吗？
